At the age of 19, I went to work as a nanny for an editor of National Geographic Magazine in Aspen, Colorado. They worked out of a little cabin outside of town that I would walk to with the baby to get her feeding from her mom.
I would have thirty minutes to converse with all the photographers (from all over the world) who were tucked away in a small room looking through a magnifying glass at their slides. Yes, these were film days.
It was so exciting! They would ask me which image was my favorite, and I would tell them which ones I liked, and why...
"That was when I completely fell in love with photography."
My passion has only grown all of these years, and capturing people in their true form is what makes me love what I do even more.
